Ammu, Prime Video’s first Telugu original film, gets a release date

This is the season of Aishwarya Lekshmi. The slender actress, who started her career in Malayalam, has now established herself as a pan-Indian actress. In the biggest Tamil hit of the season, Ponniyin Selvan 1, Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the role of Poonguzhali, a woman from the boat. Her character will also have more screen time in the second part. Earlier in the year, she co-produced and acted in a cameo in the Tamil film Gargi. In Malayalam, she uploaded the film herself Archana 31 Not Out. In Telugu, she debuted in the movie called Goddess.

Aishwarya Lekshmi, who is a qualified doctor, is now headlined Amazon Prime Video’s first Telugu original film titled Ammu. The film is part of Prime Video’s festive lineup for the 2022 Great Indian Festival, which kicked off on September 23.

Ammu will stream on Prime Video from October 19
