Google’s Pixel update just made the Pixel 6a an even less attractive purchase

When the Google Pixel 6 debuted, it brought a new feature in the form of Magic Eraser, which lets you use AI to remove unwanted background objects in photos, and the Pixel 6a took it a step further with Camouflage mode. It turns out that this expanded mode is now coming to earlier Pixel 6 devices.

When the Google Pixel 6a goes on sale on July 28, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will receive an update that brings Camouflage mode – confirmed for On the edge (opens in new tab) by a Google spokesperson.
