AMD FSR 2.0 mods start to appear as gamers can’t wait for frame rate increases

AMD’s FSR 2.0 (Super Resolution FidelityFX) is still relatively new to the gaming scene and hardly any games yet – but modders have taken matters into their own hands in some cases when it comes to unofficially pushing support to the frame rate increase technology.

We’ve already seen a mod for Cyberpunk 2077 by the fun-named modder PotatoOfDoom, which essentially leverages DLSS support to bring in FSR 2.0, and this workaround is now also available in mods for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Dying Light 2. The latter were worked on by other modders on Nexus Mods, but still based on the original PotatoOfDoom mod.

Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro might launch tonight

The Asus ROG Phone 6 will launch tonight and there is a possibility that we will also see a Pro model at the event. This will be the first time the company has added such a smartphone to the lineup. According to a tweet from insider Mukul Sharma, the device has been spotted on the list of Bluetooth certifications alongside the ROG Phone 6.

The SIG Bluetooth certification list shows the AI2201 model numbers listed under each model. The listing shows that the ROG Phone 6 was listed 4 times, while the ROG Phone 6 Pro was listed twice. This could mean that the company will release 2 variants for the Pro model. Also, it has been confirmed that all devices will be running Bluetooth 5.2 when they are released.

ROG Phone Pro specs are unknown at this time. And surprisingly, there were no phone updates from many of the country’s informants. All we can do now is wait until launch to find out more.

From what we know about the ROG Phone 6, the smartphone is expected to run the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and feature a 165Hz AMOLED display. Rumor has it that it comes with a large 5,850mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging out of the box. The ROG gaming smartphone may also come with a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary lens.

Will the Pro model come to India?

Project Cambria is Meta’s most important VR headset right now

Meta apparently has high hopes for Project Cambria, with a leaked internal memo saying the upcoming VR headset is one of Meta’s most important investment opportunities right now.

Announced as a high-end follow-up to the hugely popular Meta Quest 2 (previously called the Oculus Quest 2), the Cambria will come with all-new AR and face tracking features. While it will likely still be used for gaming, Meta appears to be rolling it out for more business and industry-focused uses, a gamble that will need to pay off (via Reuters (opens in new tab)).

Healthy Elden Ring Invader should be a lesson to us all

A solo Elden Ring player is setting an example of how to pull off the perfect invasion – and damn if they aren’t just the hero we need in Soulslike games.

Elden Ring, like other games in the Soulsbourne series, is tough at best. Add in invasions – where players can infiltrate your game and kill you while you’re distracted fighting AI enemies – and Elden Ring can go from creepy to a quick ‘no!’ very fast. So seeing this Redditor take pity on newcomers to the game warmed my old gray heart.

Sony Xperia 1 V: what we want to see

The Sony Xperia 1 IV is, in many ways, one of the most interesting phones of 2022 so far, as it has features you won’t find anywhere else.

But it’s also a flawed phone with an extremely high price tag, so there are certainly changes we want to see for the Sony Xperia 1 V, and we’ve listed them below.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G is Samsung’s best value phone right now

Want to buy a Samsung phone for around 20,000? Look no further, get the Samsung Galaxy M52. Let me explain!

The Samsung Galaxy M52 was launched last year in India for Rs. 29,999 for its base variant. It is now available for a discounted price of Rs. 20,999!

This has made this phone not only one of Samsung’s most cost-effective smartphones right now, but also one of the best of the best deals in this budget range.

The Samsung Galaxy M52 5G comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display, which comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and has a selfie camera hole.

The M52 is powered by the Snapdragon 778 SoC, which is Snapdragon’s superstar chipset in the segment. It is featured on many phones under Rs. 30,000 in India such as Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, iQOO Z6 Pro, Vivo T1 Pro, Realme GT Master Edition, iQOO Z5, etc. chipset. Here we

Speaking of optics, it comes with a triple camera setup. A 64MP main camera, a secondary 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 5MP macro camera. There is a 32MP front camera for capturing selfies.

It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. But it only comes with a 15W charger in the box.

Should I buy the Samsung Galaxy M52 in 2022?

Yes, the phone is almost a year old now. It even has a successor, the Samsung Galaxy M53 on the market right now. But this phone is really better than its successor, also at a better price!

Comparing the two phones, the M52 has the Snapdragon 778, which is definitely an advantage over the Dimensity 900 in the M53. One advantage you can count on the M53 is the 108MP primary sensor compared to the 64MP sensor on the M52. The rest of the features remain similar, but the M53 doesn’t come with a charger in the box, you have to buy it separately. M53 costs Rs. 26,499 currently on Amazon.

When we compare this phone to other phones in the segment, this is also the best priced Snapdragon 778 phone. And it doesn’t just have the SoC, it also has the features to compete with all these other phones.

If you are in the market for a good smartphone around Rs. 20,000, this is one of the best picks right now.
